Specialist Superlatives

Katelyn Reist (Western University) submitted this witty poem and fun memes to our 'Foot in Mouth Disease' category!  We all need a laugh each day - thank you for your creativity!

Going into a specialty? Here are a few things you should know about each one:

  • Cardiologists have a big heart.
  • Surgeons only cut to cure.
  • Radiologists are colored blind, and only see things in black and white.
  • Ophthalmologists look out for each other.
  • Dermatologists will help you grow your hair back.
  • Microbiologists are very small.
  • Internist’s favorite activity are puzzles.
  • ECC’s are always there when you really need them.
  • Dentists bite!
  • Neurologists have an open mind.
  • Nutritionists have weight loss programs and are the only ones who can recite the Krebs cycle!
  • Toxicologists will always take too much.
  • Behaviorists never ask, “How do you feel today?”
  • Pharmacologists always have drugs on hand.
  • Anesthesiologists will put you to sleep.
  • Pathologists are always late.

Finals Frenzy

The month of December is filled with lots of two things: fun and finals (which are probably not related).  As you begin to prepare for final exams, make sure to make time for breaks, get some rest, and try to laugh every once in a while!  Thanks to Jasmine Coleman from Auburn University for sending this in to our Foot in Mouth Disease category!
