An Open and Shut Case

Thank you to Thea Madill of St. George's University for sharing this case with us!  I'd say that's a definitive diagnosis!

A good example of why visualizing INSIDE the oral cavity is an important part of our physical exam!

Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.

This week, we celebrated the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr on MLK Day. King was a non-violent activist critical in the protests against racial discrimination in the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement. We can honor MLK’s vision, message, and cause today by continuing to uplift and center black voices in veterinary medicine and in our continued support of Black Lives Matter. As SAVMA, we aim to do so by advocating to make Diversity, Equity and Inclusion a priority and standard in the profession. We recommend the BLM resources compiled by VOICE @vet.voice.national.
