'HSVMA is excited to host our 5th Annual Animal Welfare Symposium for Students via a virtual platform on Saturday, November 7th. As with our past symposiums, registration is FREE and all veterinary students and veterinary technician students are welcome! REGISTER HERE
Two concurrent lecture tracks will provide a full day of welfare-related presentations on timely topics ranging from veterinary forensics, farm animal welfare and puppy mills to ethical challenges in veterinary practice, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and access to care issues.
In addition to a full day of lectures, a networking event will take place immediately following the presentations. Students will be able to chat with the speakers in an informal and relaxed atmosphere via Zoom. Go to our website to view the agenda and other details.
