Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 01:00PM Join us this evening, July 8th at 6:00 CST as we host our second Diversity and Inclusion webinar focusing on racial diversity! In partnership with Hill's Pet Nutrition and SAVMA, we will be hosting webinars throughout the summer addressing multiple aspects of diversity to help promote a more inclusive environment in veterinary medicine.
Leading our racial diversity webinar is Dr. Will Draper. Dr Draper is the founder of The Village Vets alongside his wife, Dr.Françoise Tyler. The Village Vets is one of the largest privately owned groups of veterinary hospitals in the metro Atlanta area. They even have their own TV show, "Love & Vets," on Disney+! Dr. Draper will be talking with us about how he navigates his personal and professional experiences as a member of a diverse community in the not-so-diverse veterinary profession, and will share the challenges he has faced surrounding racism and prejudice as a Black man. The Zoom invitation and link can be found below.
We hope to see you there!
